This policy describes how Legit Cosmetics Limited (“Legit”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from uselegit.com (the “Site”).
When you visit the Site we automatically collect information about your device, including your browser, IP address, time zone and the cookies installed on it. We also collect which pages and products you view, what referred you to the Site, and how you interact with it. We call this Device Information, and we collect it using cookies, log files and tracking pixels.
When you place an order we collect your name, billing address, delivery address, payment details, email address and phone number. We call this Order Information.
Together, Device Information and Order Information are your Personal Information.
We use Order Information to take payment, deliver your order, manage your membership, send order confirmations and answer your questions. We also use it to screen orders for fraud, and, where you have agreed, to send you marketing.
We use Device Information to protect against fraud, and to understand and improve how the Site performs.
We share your Personal Information with the services that run our business: Shopify, which powers the store and checkout, Klaviyo, which sends our email, our delivery partners, and our advertising and analytics providers. Each holds your information only to provide that service to us.
We also share information where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request, or to protect our rights.
We use your information to show you advertising we think is relevant. You can control this in your browser settings, in the ad settings of the platforms themselves, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tools. We do not change what we collect in response to a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to transfer it. Email hello@uselegit.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We keep Order Information for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require, and for as long as your membership is active. You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Some of the services we use store information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards those transfers require.
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18.
